Sorry that I am emailing so late, it's been a very busy day, getting ready for transfers and what not.
It's been an interesting, slow, very cold week. Two days this week, we had to stay inside due to cold and snow, and then on monday night I got very sick - everything is alright now- I got a really bad sinus infection and had to stay inside another day, but I'm very grateful that I have been able to get better.
Now, I don't have a lot of time, but I just want to say that I am very grateful for Heavenly Father and for our eternal family. the Gospel is such a wonderful blessing, to know that as we follow our Savior and strive to keep his commandments, everything will work out for our good in the end. I have learned a lot recently about the purpose that Heavenly Father has for us in this life and how we need to live according to His expectations.
I know that as we remain humble and steadfast that Heavenly Father will guide us to what is right. This week I gained a deeper appreciation for our family and for the great blessing of living in a home that tried and tried again to do what is right. We talked with some members about doing family home evening and how important it is to just spend time as a family, I'm very grateful that we did that.
It is also such a learning experience helping the missionaries in our Zone. I know that it is so important to remain humble and to remain diligent. I know that truly becoming disciples of Christ helps with everything, especially in being happy. "men are that they might have joy" 2 nephi 2:25. there a few members of our zone who are going home this transfer and I've seen how being diligent can really help so much in happiness and feeling successful. I just can't get over how much of a blessing this gospel is and how much I know it makes us happy as we live it.
We were able to get a hold of Linda this week!! it was really exciting and we are really happy that We're able to help her. Hopefully we can help to understand that having the gospel gives us purpose, as that is what she is struggling with right now. Carlos and Geo are still doing well, but they weren't able to come to church, and Erick is great! We are really trying to find some new people to teach. Elder Porter is great! and we will be staying together for his last transfer. We're both excited!! I really love him!
Family, thank you so much for everything!! I love you so much! I am so very grateful for your prayers, love and your support. please know that you are in my prayers.
ij iokwe eok!!
