Josh's Mission Jan 5 2015

Good morning family!

it hasn't been super cold like it was last year, but it is supposed to get colder here in the next little bit. We really haven't had a very wintery winter at all, but that's okay, we get to see more people that way.
It has been a really good week. :) the new year was great! It's so interesting though, nothing really feels different, it's just a great time to start again, like every day :) That's something that we talked about in priesthood yesterday, that everyday should be a start of a new year for us. We talked about a talk that Edler Holland gave at a BYU devotional about setting new year's resolutions and Lot's wife. it's actually in a great Mormon message called New Year's: Look Not behind Thee. it's really good, and I know that it's so important to keep moving forward!

So I've got good news and bad news: bad news first.... it's really not to bad don't worry.

We haven't been able to get a hold of Tammie at all this week. She is living in a women's shelter, she doesn't have a phone, so we can't find her. It's really sad and we are praying that we are able to find her. also, Linda hasn't been contacting us. we think that she went out of town for the Holidays, but then we we went over there after new years, the lights were one, but she didn't answer. So we haven't been able to talk to her at all, but that's all good, we are praying that she didn't get antied, and that we can just talk to her. It's all work out though

so good news, we had a sweet lesson with Erick this week and we also found an African Congo family to teach and we have someone who speaks french coming with us to teach them. and I don't know if I've told you very much about Geo and Carlos, but they are these to great Mexican guys who really love the church and are excited to keep learning. they really want to change their lives. they both are so sweet.

in other news we get transfer calls next week, so we shall see if I stay or go. I'll probably stay though

thank you so much for your prayers! love and support! I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate everything that the Lord has blessed us with. I love you!! i hope that you have a great start to the new year!
